Johnny Mercer

Johnny grew up in Southern Berkshire County. With his upbringing by a small pond brought a love of the outdoors, namely water activities including fishing and kayaking.  He has always had a passion for building, drawing him into a career in carpentry with an interest in architectural details.  After earning an associate's degree in carpentry at SUNY Delhi, he pursued a career he loved, remodeling homes. Johnny grew up in Southern Berkshire County. With his upbringing by a small pond brought a love of the outdoors, namely water activities including fishing and kayaking.  He has always had a passion for building, drawing him into a career in carpentry with an interest in architectural details.  After earning an associate's degree in carpentry at SUNY Delhi, he pursued a career he loved, remodeling homes. Eventually earning his contractor's license and starting his own business.  After 24 years in the construction industry, he grew an eye for what a home can be rather than seeing it just as it is.  He decided to change to an industry that he has followed as a hobby since the early 2000’s and bring his two interests together.
