Today, Barnbook is located in the center of Great Barrington at 271 Main Street - the most visible location in Berkshire County. Mary White has both sold properties and found perfect new homes for her clients for 25 years. She also serves on the Berkshire County Board of Realtors, and she is a licensed appraiser, a member of the Southern Berkshire Housing Coalition, and member of the New Marlboro Planning Board. She is the current Vice President of Construct, Inc., a housing service organization in Great Barrington, and she serves on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club. Mary serves as a Massachusetts Association of Realtors Director and is a Berkshire Realtor Representative for visits to our legislators in Washington DC.
Maureen White Kirkby has been with Barnbrook for 11 years, enjoying many aspects of the business - following sales trends, assembling financing, and understanding the intricacies of both renovation and new construction. She graduated from LaSalle College with a BA in Nursing, and she attended Boston College in the Masters program in Nursing. She has worked in health care management and consulting in the Boston area.
Christina Stewart was born and raised in Sutton MA and has lived in the Berkshires since 1985. Prior to joining Barnbrook, she was involved in the sales and rentals for resort properties. Her expertise will serve you well whether you choose to rent or purchase property. She resides in Housatonic with son, Sawyer, and husband, Mark, owner of Stewart Property Management.
Anita loves her job. The entire process thrills her: from early dream formation… to the passing of the keys at the closing table. Anita’s territory has spanned 15 years in double locations, both locally and in Florida. Before that, she put in immense energy into developing a franchise fast food company of 6 stores. “ I learned and used new skills in negotiating as well as operations and human relations. “Finding and living in the Berkshires has given me a life I never thought I’d find. The beauty, warmth and friendliness of this community makes it easy to feel at home.”
Kim Hamberg Wilder was born and raised in the Berkshires. After traveling to many other places decided that this was the perfect place to live and raise a family. Now a number of years in the real estate business I find that my ability to listen to my clients is my greatest resorce and I can find them the perfect homes for their individual needs.
Glee Bieri has been a resident of North Egremont since 1988. Raised in Europe and the United States, she received her B.S. in Journalism from Ohio State. Prior to her career in Real Estate, she excelled in the restaurant and tourism industry in New York and the Berkshires. Her husband Urs is the owner/chef of the Elm Court Inn, an Egremont landmark.
Suzann Laverak Ward was born and raised over in New York state. She moved to the Berkshires to raise her two children Justin and India. She co-chairs the Breaking Bread which is serves meals to less fortunate families’ in Berkshire County.
She has been in Real Estate for the past seven years and truly loves every part of her job. Suzann has designations for CBR as well as ABR and was a #1 producer in previous years.
Dawn Van Ness grew up in Berkshire County before leaving the area to receive her BS from Cornell University and later her MBA from Babson College. After finishing her schooling and working for Fortune 500 companies in both the insurance and food service industries she returned home to the Berkshires to begin her career as a Realtor. In her 7 years in real estate she has focused primarily on the second home market in the Otis and Becket areas representing both buyers and sellers. She also works with local builders assisting second home buyers in creating their dream vacation homes by being a locally based liaison and advocate for their needs in the often difficult and confusing construction process. Dawn is very active in the community working with the town of Otis on updating the zoning bylaws and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Berkshire County Multiple Listing Service.
Judie Owens is a member of the Berkshire County Board of Realtors, a Certified Buyer’s Representative (CBR), and has broken records for the largest residential and condo sales in the Berkshires. She graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Speech, enjoyed careers in New York as fashion/beauty editor with Vogue Children and Glamour magazines - then in advertising with clients including Revlon, Bloomingdale’s and Federated Department Stores. That business experience – understanding, interpreting and communicating consumer ‘lifestyle’ - provides the ideal background for helping Berkshire home buyers and sellers to fulfill their unique needs.
